OUR INTERNSHIPS
Internships program
Please note that the itinerary of the stage is given as an indication. The guide is the only judge of the program, which he can modify at any time for safety or technical reasons (car breakdown, getting stuck), depending on the weather conditions or the physical level of the participants.
In these cases, we offer alternative programs.
Welcoming
Upon your arrival at the airport of Algiers or Djanet, our team is ready to welcome you.
Supervision
A team of professionals with perfect knowledge of the desert accompanies you throughout your stay (an accompanist from our agency, a Targui guide who speaks French and English, and a local team composed of drivers, cooks, and musicians). The guide will be equipped with a first aid kit, a cell phone, and a satellite phone.
Luggage transport
During the flight, prepare a small backpack, a carry-on bag, and a checked bag. A complete list is available to allow you to prepare your luggage (see travel guide section, equipment)
On site, each person travels with a light backpack containing only necessary items during the day (water bottle, snack, sunscreen, camera, etc.).
The other luggage, transported by 4X4 vehicles, camels or donkeys, are returned every evening to the camp.
Transportation
4X4 vehicles, walking, camel trekking, donkeys or combined depending on the type of circuit.
Camp
Our guide chooses the location of the bivouac, searching for the perfect place in terms of safety and comfort.
Selection Criteria:
- A location where camping is allowed (protected sites)
- A more or less flat area
- Sheltered from cold, wind, and wet areas
- Far from trees
- A pleasant view
You can choose to sleep under the stars or in a tent. Mattresses and sleeping bags are provided. If it is your first experience, our team will help you become autonomous in setting up, pitching, and taking down your tent.
Meals
During your stay, one or more chefs accompany you and take care of all meals:
- A sweet/savory breakfast: coffee, tea, milk, jam, butter, sliced bread, biscuits, omelette

Return
On the day of departure, our team will take you back to the airport and assist you, if necessary, with check-in and boarding procedures.
